SYNOPSIS
Senior Electrical Engineer experienced and specialist in the design, and construction management of buildings and
infrastructure services (dry & wet utilities), especially high, medium, and low voltage power distribution systems,
lighting, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, ELV, and PV systems.

The projects, I have done comprised low to high-rise buildings of healthcare, petrochemical, commercial, retail,
residential, industrial, recreational, hospitality, data storage centers, defense facilities, cultural heritages, water,
wastewater, and firewater pumping stations, landscape, public places, royal palaces, streets, and roads, worth billions
of USD.
SERVICES
The services, I design, specify, and manage are outlined;
• Power distribution systems (HV, MV, LV & ELV Systems like 132, 66, 33, 22, 11, 400/230 kV & <50v) including
sizing and specifying main components like transformers, switchgear, distribution panels, PF capacitor banks,
RMUs, Generators, Auxiliary Supplies, CBS, UPS, IPS, VFD, motors, starters, cables, busways, containment,
and all other components.
• Earthing bonding & lightning protection systems
• Photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems
• Lighting & Lighting Control Systems including emergency lighting
• Water & power instrumentation, Control, and SCADA Systems
• Building automation, control, and metering systems like BMS, IPCS, DCS, PMS, Smart metering, etc.
• Fire alarm and gas detection systems (FASD, VESDA, HSSD, FM200 & Others)
• Telecom Systems
• Extra-low voltage (ELV) systems like CCTV, public address, access control, tour guard (TGS); detection of
presence, vibration, leak, intrusion; master clock, guest room management, public address, nurse call, queue
management, attendance, video call, intercom, IP telephone, parking management, barriers systems, ticket
dispensers and structured cabling systems (passive), Interfacing of above systems where specified or
required in the project
• Well aware of MEP services like HVAC, water, firefighting, smoke-management, and their integration and
interfacing
• Capable to prepare, review and verify design documentation like reports, drawings, calculations, schedules,
details, and other miscellaneous studies and documentation required from concept to IFC Stage.
• Well aware of site management procedures and documentation like MAR, MIR, ITP, MS, NCR, FAT, SAT,
T&C, LOTO, HSE, QA/QC, builders work, change management, hand-over, take-over, and other procedures
and activities.
• Area and zone classification (HAZID, HAZOP) for suitability of equipment and redundancy of power supplies
for healthcare, petrochemical, storage, workshops, etc.

The overall scope of responsibilities for consulting works includes but was not limited to defining the scope of MEP
works, reviewing and approving contractor’s submittals, preparing and issuing tender documentation, participating in
bid reviews, supervising and managing construction activities of various projects of fit-out and upgrading major
equipment of power (MV, LV, ELV), HVAC, IT, Hot water and other services at Al Ain Hospital and its associated
facilities subsequently achieving JCIA accreditation.

• Supervised maintenance and operation activities of Al Ain Hospital and its associated facilities.
The overall scope of responsibilities for maintenance works included but was not limited to preparing/updating O&M
Manuals, reviewing CM & PPM schedules, monitoring call center activities, reviewing KPIs, preparing a budget for
discipline, monitoring contractor’s performance and activities, checking available stock of spares, tools, manpower,
emergency contacts, and backup plans. Witness routine testing of backup power (Gen Sets, UPS IPS CBS, etc.),
review and approve contractor’s invoices. Analyze all critical equipment and recommend up-gradation where required.
Provided academic support to the student of UAE University, Women’s and Men’s college of technology for their final
year project studies.
