Helpful Notes!
•To do the cheeks and stripes, I used needle felting. You could also cut pieces of craft felt and
sew/glue them on. For more on needle felting, check out this tutorial:

•To help it sit flat, cut a circle of cardboard or plastic to fit in the bottom before stuffing.
Body
Begin with white

Change to black

Push r37-38 inside. Using BLO stitches it should naturally pop into
place. Secure it with some hidden running stitches through it.
Button

Sew this piece to the surface,
on either side of the neck.
Tail
This shape starts like an oval.
You will use a ch1 to jump to the other side
and skip stitches to make the stair step. (Then you
will work in that ch next round)
If your stitch count doesn't match up perfectly,
just keep the shape flat and skip over where ever it
looks good.
Change to brown

Bowl
Begin with pale green/blue

Finish off, leave a tail for sewing
Sew hole closed.
Turn the top half inside to form the
bowl. Use a yarn needle to thread the tail
through the bottom of the bowl.
Use the tail to sew this piece to the o-
ring on the body.
Tab
Begin with pale green/blue
r1 4sc in magic ring (4)
r2 sc around (4)
r3 sc around (4)
Finish off, leave a tail for sewing
Sew this piece to the rim of the bowl
Details of the back
Assembly
•Sew bowl/ring combo onto front
•Needle felt or sew on back stripes
•Sew tail to bottom as shown
