1. Task 1

FINAL PROJECT OF THE
COURSE
What benefits does dual learning provide?

Some of the benefits are:

TRAINING OF WORKERS ACCORDING TO COMPANY REQUIREMENTS: This refers to the

professional practices that this dual learning can provide, since the conditions are that it has
training centers, workshops and laboratories, very similar to the production units of industrial
companies, with the same machines and equipment used in their facilities. Young people also do
their internships in the same jobs in the companies.

RAPID INTEGRATION INTO THE COMPANY'S PRODUCTIVE AND SOCIAL PROCESS: The
SENATI institute offers this modality starting from the 4th cycle of the degree, which allows
students at an early age to gain professional experience in the field of industry where they apply
technical criteria at an industrial level. This is made possible by the agreement with companies
that work with SENATI.

STRENGTHENING THE COMPANY-SENATI LINK: Allowing for experiential learning. Promote

learning in real working conditions both technologically and practically. Contribute to early job
insertion, in which the participant has a mind focused on reality.

PARTICIPANTS GRADUALLY SUPPORT PRODUCTION: During their dual training, students

have tasks required by the PEA, where they also innovate every day regarding the technology
available to them. This means that when there is a problem, the company is gradually supported
by providing a technical solution based on the experience and criteria provided by SENATI.

Describe the pedagogical potential of work and the conditions of learning in companies.

Pedagogy should be essential for an intern before entering a workplace.

Having knowledge is information processed and stored in a person's memory. They are generated
by doing tests, observing and receiving explanations that later become a plan that will be stored at
a brain level.

For example: Principles, functions and applications of a particular electronic device.

Skills are capacities to carry out activities and operations, that is, they are a flow of bodily
movements, which can reach the level of automation that implies ease, speed, and accuracy in
carrying out an activity or operation. They are formed through the repeated exercise of the
sequence of movements corresponding to an activity.

For example: Driving a vehicle.

Attitudes/behaviors are models or norms of life or action that a person makes his or her own. They
are formed from experience or knowledge, which receive positive or negative emotional charges,
this charge is given through one's own or others' experiences.

For example: Punctuality, respect for safety standards, environmental conservation, good quality
in production.

Learning conditions:

Learning during its process builds new knowledge and develops skills in people within an
organization.

Aspects to be evaluated in the mastery of an activity:

> Choice of materials, tools, etc.

3
FINAL PROJECT OF THE
> Sequence of operation
COURSE
> Skill in the correct use of the elements
> Quality of final work (company quality control standards)
> Time spent.

Aspects to evaluate attitude towards work:

> Attendance and punctuality

> Responsibility and cooperation in the assigned work
> Accepting suggestions and criticism
> Interpersonal relationships
> Ability to learn new techniques
> Application of safety regulations
> Creativity and initiative to solve problems.

What are the functions of the Monitor in the context of corporate learning?

The Monitor primarily assesses skills and attitudes. This assessment is carried out through direct
observation by the Monitor of the apprentice and focuses on both the execution process and the
finished product, leaving a record of them.

Check the development of the young person's learning in the company, establishing whether or
not he or she has achieved mastery of the tasks corresponding to the job position. Evaluate, in
coordination with the monitoring specialist, the apprentices under your charge.
Monitor the use of the weekly work report book (the apprentice's report book is the instrument
through which the apprentice records what he does in the company).
Ensure the safety conditions of the apprentice within the company.

2. Task 2
Describe how tasks are performed in a job.

A simple and repetitive task can be assigned to the apprentice by the monitor, after prior
instruction, so that the apprentice can carry it out until meeting the established requirements in
terms of quality and speed. Once mastery has been achieved, the task change must begin.

In the case of complex tasks, it is advisable to assign the apprentice an experienced worker who
is familiar with the tasks of his trade, to guide and constantly supervise him until he successfully
completes the tasks of that job. The first days in a company are the most difficult for apprentices.
They are curious and eager to learn, but at the same time afraid to do so. This is where the
instructor performs his or her function of channeling these curiosities and concerns, transforming
them into benefits for both the company and the apprentice.

What aspects would you propose for the development of work skills?

• Appropriation of knowledge, capacities and skills that form competencies in the person
who learns.
• Knowledge process that integrates new experiences into existing experience patterns
(experiences already lived, achieved).
• Learning constitutes an individual activity, that is, it can only be done by the individual who
learns, although it develops in a physical, social and cultural context. You can help
someone learn or facilitate learning, but ultimately it is the individual who learns.
• Learning does not mean memorizing information mechanically, but rather understanding it
(interpreting and understanding its meaning), analyzing it, relating it to known situations
(learning from one's own experience), judging it and even evaluating it, and then
appropriating it and using it in new situations.

4
FINAL PROJECT OF THE
COURSE
• paying attention to the knowledge, beliefs, values, expectations, etc., with which learners
come to a learning situation.

How would you apply the 4-step method in the workplace?

1. FIRST STEP: Preparation of the learner and the objects (Motivate)

❖ Encourage him, be kind to him.
❖ Tell him what he is going to learn.
❖ Find out what you already know about the assignment.
❖ Awaken your interest in learning.
❖ Explain the importance and usefulness of the task.
❖ Place him in a convenient location so that he can see and hear the demonstration
perfectly.

2.SECOND STEP: Demonstration (presentation of the task)

❖ Explain, illustrate and demonstrate each step, in order.
❖ Emphasize each key point.
❖ Repeat without adding or omitting ideas.
❖ Don't try to teach too much.
❖ Try to adjust to the learner's mindset.

3.THIRD STEP: Explanation and application (EXECUTE)

❖ Order in the execution of the operation.
❖ Explain each operation performed.
❖ Cleaning in the work area

4. FOURTH STEP: Control and verification (EVALUATE)

❖ Carry out the analysis and commentary of the task or operation carried out.
❖ Evaluate the work done.
❖ Check for proper operation.

What procedures and instruments would you propose for assessing learning in companies? Please

EVALUATION INSTRUMENTS

Once the working methods and certain evaluation aspects of each key person involved
in the dual training process have been identified, it is necessary to develop appropriate
tools to reflect them all in a coherent and consistent manner.

SPECIFICATION SHEET FOR EACH OF THE TRAINING ACTIVITIES

During the development of the project, we will use this table to define different training
activities, so that each activity has a very detailed set of specifications associated with

associated with one or more clear descriptors that will be evaluated by the company staff
responsible for training the students.

COMPANY.

This will serve as a working document for the meetings held by the learning leader with
the work mentor. It is a weekly work tool that summarizes the student's activities in the
company and their evaluation for the supervisor.

DAILY REPORT TEMPLATE

This form is prepared by each student. The purpose of this document is to help students
prepare a daily report of training in the company and to collect a first sample of the
activities carried out in the weekly follow-up meetings of the job mentor. As a general
rule, we recommend dividing the activities into tasks of up to 120 minutes to allow
students to describe and analyse their work in detail.

SUMMARY OF EVALUATIONS AND RATINGS

Each student training method is a professional module. This document summarizes all
the comments and ratings that students have received for a specific academic module,
which may be empty boxes for some students, as some students may not have received
continuing education.
