Overview
Project UMAGA aims to enhance school community engagement
through various activities that foster patriotism, physical fitness, and
spiritual unity. This monitoring tool will help evaluate the implementation
of the project's activities across schools, focusing on flag ceremonies,
physical education integration, ecumenical prayers, and celebrations of
identity.

Activities to Monitor
1. Flag-Raising and Lowering Ceremonies
- Conducted every Monday morning and Friday afternoon.
- Follow the prescribed sequence as per DepEd guidelines.

2. Integration of Physical Education through Galaw Pilipinas


- Implementation of the Galaw Pilipinas calisthenics routine in daily
schedules.
- Participation of students, faculty, and staff in the program.

3. Organizing Ecumenical Prayers and Pledges


- Conduct interfaith prayers during flag ceremonies.
- Encourage participation from diverse religious backgrounds.

4. Celebrating Identities through Hymns


- Perform national, regional, and local hymns during school events.
- Highlight cultural diversity within the school community.
Monitoring Guidelines and Mechanics
1. Information Collection
 Observation Checklists. Develop checklists to observe flag ceremonies
i.e blue book, Galaw Pilipinas sessions, and prayer gatherings.

 Participation Records. Maintain accurate attendance logs for students,


faculty, and staff for each activity, validated by the SSLG assign and
the designated Adviser with authentic signature.
2. Evaluation Criteria
 Flag Ceremony Conduct.
 Adherence to the sequence of events (singing of the national anthem,
prayers, pledges).
 Punctuality and organization of the ceremony.
 Late comers must be reflected in the blue book.

Galaw Pilipinas Participation

 Number of participants from each class level.

 Engagement levels during the exercise (e.g., enthusiasm,


participation).

Ecumenical Prayers

 Diversity in representation during prayers.

 Frequency of prayer gatherings throughout the semester/quarter.

Cultural Celebrations

 Number of events celebrating local identities.

 Variety of hymns performed and their relevance to the community (i.e


Quirino Hymn)
3. Best Implementing School Search
To identify the best implementing school for Project UMAGA, follow these
mechanics:

1. Nomination Process
 Schools may nominate themselves or be nominated by respective
districts authorities based on their performance in implementing
project activities. Nominations should be coordinated with the
appropriate protocols and Means of Verification (MOVs) within their
respective districts (one nomination per district).
2. Submission Requirements
 A 24-page report or documentation from the selected month,
featuring detailed participation statistics, event organization insights,
and participant feedback. Selected highlights can also be viewed on
their official Facebook account using the hashtags
#ProjectUmaga2025, #SDOIsabelaPumaga, and
#BagongPilipinasUmaga.
 Evidence of adherence to guidelines (i.e., raw photos from
ceremonies, video recordings).
3. Evaluation Panel
 Form a panel consisting of education officials, community leaders,
and student representatives to assess submissions based on
established criteria.

4. Criteria for Selection
