▶ One of the referees must be the applicant’s civics tutor/form teacher. The
online referee report is in question-and-answer format. The questions will
take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Instructions and login details will
be provided to applicants who will in turn forward the login information to
their referees.
Applicants are also recommended to provide details of exceptional talents
and/or outstanding achievements beyond school co-curricular activities for
admissions assessment.
University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) Yes
Applicants will have to register for the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT)
and take the UCAT as part of the criteria for entry to the LKCMedicine MBBS
programme.
The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based admissions
test, used by a consortium of UK Universities and non-UK associate member
universities including Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) to help
select applicants for medical and dental degree programmes.
It is a two-hour test consisting of five separately timed subtests in multiple-choice
format. It is an aptitude test focused on assessing a range of mental abilities and
knowledge candidates should already have.
If one is applying to the AY2025-26 intake of LKCMedicine, one should take UCAT
between 8 July and 26 September 2024, prior to applying to LKCMedicine.

At least 3 GCE Advanced Level (UK) subjects taken within 12 months in not more than 2 sittings, either from the same or different examination
boards (Cambridge, Edexcel, OCR, AQA). However, applicants must be able to submit actual A level or A2 results before June of the year of
application. The A Level subjects taken must meet the minimum subject requirements of the programmes applying for. A-Level Mathematics or
A-Level Further Mathematics is required for applying to Engineering and most Science programmes.

Applicants whose actual/final results are released after April 2025 are ineligible to apply for the Medicine, Renaissance Engineering and Education
programmes for the AY2025 intake. For those whose actual/final results are available after 15 July 2025, they are ineligible to apply for the Art,
Design & Media programme for the AY2025 intake.
