Have we met somewhere before?

“Isn’t Rentarou-kun running a little late?”

While spending time on the Rooftop as per usual, Hakari suddenly asked this
question. The Girls had long since arrived together, but Rentarou was the only
one missing. The members of the 4th class of the 1st year usually head to the
Rooftop together, but Rentarou had parted with them in front of the classroom
while saying “I have to go to the restroom”.

“Do ya want me to call him?”

Said Karane while bringing out her phone and calling Rentarou.

“He… isn’t picking up…”

They waited and waited, but the ringing just kept going, until she hung up with a
concerned look.

“Alright then, let’s look for him directly, yep yep!”

“Rentarou-sama’s Phone has its location data pointing to the coordinates of your
class.”

“How did you find Rentarou-senpai’s Phone’s location so easily?”

“Don’t worry, I have the app installed with his consent!”

“Well maybe Rentarou-kun’s helping the teacher again.”

“< Then we too shall head for the grant1! >”

“It is more efficient to do it in a group.”

And just like that, they all left the Rooftop in a team to go help.

As they arrived in front of the classroom…

asked by Hakari and Karane, he turned around and looked a bit surprised for
some reason, and then he had a bitter smile.

“I don’t really know…”

Rentarou slowly shook his head after saying that.

“There must have been something I absolutely had to do… but I can’t remember
for the life of me…”

“...?”

They all shook their heads after hearing the somewhat confused words.

“< Did someone > < ask you to > < do something >?”

“Did you forget to wear a diaper, yep yep?”

“It’s the one wearing them who’s forgotten about being a normal human…”

“Guesswork is inefficient, we should look for related items.”

“I see. Rentarou-chan, can you remember anything that could give us a clue?”

“I shall make note of every word.”

All eyes were on Rentarou, and so he asked :

“I’m sorry so… Can I ask something first?”

With sweat running down his cheeks, he humbly raised his hand.

“Have I met any of you before somewhere?”

“Eh…?”

The Girls completely froze up at his words, which were mumbled with a slightly
awkward smile.
“Well… If I met someone like any of you, I would definitely remember, so I know
it’s nothing like that, but it feels like you guys know me somehow… I wonder
why…”

Rentarou, wondering how the Girls knew him, kept going rather quickly.

“What are you talking about…. This is just… a joke…?”

Perhaps because she knew that Rentarou would never make such a joke,
Karane immediately swallowed her words, bit her lips and looked away.

“That’s…!? Rentarou-kun… Could it be that you have Amnesia!?”

Knowing that might be the case as well as the only possibility, Hakari trembled
with a pale face.

“Am I really the one… with Amnesia…?’

“Why is he the most confused one…?”

Rentarou looked impatient and was profusely sweating, as if he had never

considered that possibility. Even after Straight-Manning, Kurumi looked pale, as
one expects from her in particular.

Rentarou, who looked a little indifferent up to that point, suddenly came to his
senses.

“Huh… Woah… I just graduated from middle school and before I knew it, I’m in a
high school uniform in a high school classroom…”

That seemed to be his perspective on things…

“But I doubt I have Amnesia…”

Rentarou, who had completely lost his Memories, had no way of remembering at
all…

“When I came to, I was simply asleep in this seat, and for some reason there was
this Meteorite lying at my feet, and I had a bump on the side of my head…”

Rentarou’s mind began to function properly, and he was finally convinced.

“I’m so sorry, it seems that I forgot about everyone!”

He then bowed, deeply, to the Girls.

“It’s not your fault Rentarou-chan, so it can’t be helped… You’re hurt so

bad…There, There…”

Hahari, with a smile on her face, gently stroked his head.

“I am surprised, however. I never knew I had so many cute and beautiful

acquaintances…”

”...ances.”

As Rentarou looked around at everyone again, Karane, who had been lying on
her back for some time now, blurted out some words.

"Eh…? Sorry, what was it just now…?"

When Rentarou asked with an apologetic expression, Karane looked up and

glared at him sharply.

“We ain’t just some acquaintances!”

Then, she cried out with tears in the corner of her eyes.

“Eh…? So you mean all of you know me one way or another…”

‘Which meant?’ were likely Rentarou’s words if the sentence continued.

“What I’m saying is that I’m yer Girlfriend!”

Putting her hands on her chest, his voice was drowned out by Karane’s.

“Gerlfren?”

Rentarou parroted back as if he didn't understand the meaning of that word.

“Girlfriend!?”
A moment later, he looked surprised as his eyes widened.

"I-I see… I can't believe I'm dating someone as wonderful as you..."

While directing his gaze toward Karane, Rentarou scratched his face, with his
cheeks slightly reddened.

“I’m also Rentarou-kun’s Girlfriend!”

“I’m also Rentarou-kun’s Girlfriend!?!?”

The Eyelid Opening record was broken by the words of Hakari that followed.

“< I’m also> < in love with you >.”

“I’m also in love with you!?!?!?”

“I am also in a relationship with Aijou Rentarou."

“I am also in a relationship with Aijou Rentarou!?!?!?!?”

“Kusuri is also dating Rentarou, yep yep!”

“Kusoory is also dating Rentarou, yep yep!?!?!?!?!?”

“I’m also Rentarou-chan’s Lover!”

“I’m also Rentarou-chan’s Lover!?!?!?!?!?!?”

“I’m also Rentarou-senpai’s… Girlfriend.”

“I’m also Rentarou-senpai’s… Girlfriend!?!?!?!?!?!?!?”

“I am also in an honored relationship with Rentarou-sama.”

“I am also in an honored relationship with Rentarou-sama!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?”

After breaking the record six times in a row, Rentarou’s eyes were now in a
terrible state of shock.

Then, after a few seconds frozen with those open eyes.

“…Is this like Werewolf2?”

“It is not that kind of game."

was immediately denied by Nano.

“Hehe, just kidding.”

And then Rentarou suddenly softened his expression and shrugged.

"I realized it was all a joke from halfway through."

“Even I thought this was some kind of joke at first, but this ain’t…!”

"Well, because otherwise, I'd have to be Eight-timing or something for it to make

sense, right?"

"You just came up with the explanation right now...!"

Even when told by Karane and Hakari, Rentarou didn't seem to believe them.

"Eight-timing, huh… If it goes that far, it might be interesting as a Manga setting

or something."

“< That’s not wrong either >.”

“Mei.”

“Understood.”

Mei, who had guessed everything just by hearing her name called out by Hahari,
quickly set up the classroom Projector with a swoosh. Then, the projection

“This is footage of Rentarou-sama Robot from the other day.”

towards Hahari.

While Rentarou’s confusion was further accelerated by Kusuri's explanation…

The footage shifted to a kissing scene.
“…Seriously?”

The Girls nodded in unison as Rentarou looked back at them with a battle-scared
expression on his face.

Each of those Eight people had one thing in common that resided in their eyes,
The Light of Truth without Lies.

"I see… Being rejected 100 times, and now I’m Eight-timing… I don't think it
could happen unless some kind of God or something is at work, but this kind of
thing does happen.”

Shaking his head, Rentarou seemed to be somewhat relieved.

Thus, his face was calm.

"Please enjoy this performance. The title is 'The Cheating Man's Seppuku3 feat.
A Dagger4 that for some reason was in my bag and will surely kill me after I suffer
as much as possible’.”

"Don't do it, don't do it!"

They all simultaneously grabbed Rentarou’s arm, as he swung the Dagger down
at lightning speed, to stop him.

“Let go of me! The worst kind of scum in this world who would cheat and hurt
their precious girlfriends don't deserve to live! I should die as soon as possible,
even if it's just for a second!"

Under Hahari's instructions, Mei wrapped Rentarou around with a rope.

“Ugh…! Let me die…! Let me die…!”

Rentarou, unable to move, was wailing and shedding tears.

“Rentarou-kun, you’re mistaken about one thing.”

“Eh…? As I thought, the Eight-timing thing is fake after all, right?”

“< About that >, < It was the truth >. ”

“Uoooooooooh I’ll cut my belly ouuuuuuuuut!”

“Listen here, Rentarou!”

However, Karane’s cry made him tremble and stop his tears.

"Even I, hearing about Two-timing or even Three-timing from you... At first, I

thought you were delusional..”

"After all, I made you all sad...!"

"But!"

Interrupting Rentarou’s voice, there’s a strong willpower in Karane’s eyes.

“Right now… I'm glad it turned out like this!”

A shy expression as she looked away, her lips slightly pouted in a sweet manner.

“No matter how many more Girlfriends Rentarou-kun gets, you will always
continue to love us all the same!"

Rentarou's "Request" was for the Girlfriends to take him to the memorable places
they shared with each of them. It was a proposal that the Girlfriends nodded
without hesitation, as visiting those places that left a strong impression could
serve as a trigger to regain his Memories.

“Wow, it’s beautiful!”

Looking up at the blooming Cherry Blossoms, Rentarou and the others were in
awe.

“It's the season of full bloom, isn't it?"

“How long will this season of full bloom last!?”

“…It’s making me want to eat some Sakura Mochi.”

“Granny made some Sakura Mochi for us so let’s eat them together, yep yep!”

As Kusuri and Kurumi were sharing Sakura Mochi, the others gave them warm,
affectionate glances.

“Have we seen the Cherry Blossoms here before?”

Rentarou, after watching the view for a while with a smile, turned to Mei.

“Yes. And I have received various orders from you."

"Ordering my Girlfriend around, aren’t I just the worst DV7 jerk?!"

"T-That's not it, Rentarou-chan!"

Hahari gently stroked Rentarou’s cheek, which he had just slapped with a
resounding "Bogo!" in self-defense.

"Mei didn't really know any other ways of communication, so she asked you to
give her orders, right?"

Mei bowed solemnly to Hahari, who’s holding onto Rentarou's arm as he tried to
admonish himself.

“I thought that my only value was to be of service to those I cared about, and that
I myself had no value. ”

Mei had a nostalgic look on her face, perhaps remembering those days behind
her tightly closed eyelids.

“Therefore, I asked Rentarou-sama for orders in order to do my best and serve

any orders you’d like. Then, Rentarou-sama…”

“Ugh…!?”

In the middle of Mei's words, Rentarou groaned and staggered, placing his hand
on his head.

"Rentarou-chan, do you have a headache!?"

"N-No..."

While returning a slightly apologetic look to Hahari, who was gently patting his
head, Rentarou regained his composure and turned his gaze towards Mei.

“Please, don’t do anything to help me at all…?”

“!”

As Rentarou said this in a semi-convinced tone, Mei’s eyes widened… though it

actually didn’t, but she displayed a deeply surprised expression.

“Did you get your Memories back…?"

"Ah, no, it just suddenly came to my mind... It's not like my Memories came back.
I might have just thought about what I would say if I were in the same situation..."

The contrasting duo between Shizuka, who smiled joyfully that resembled a small

was, I was of use to him, I thought that the only thing left to do was to lay down
my own life.”

simple act of living, Mei. Even if you aren’t obeying my direct orders, even if you
aren’t going out of your way trying to help me, Mei-san, you are valuable just the

Looking at Mei's smiling affirmation, Rentarou’s expression suddenly changed to

a surprised one.

"I see... I guess I really did love Mei-san..."

Perhaps because he currently had no recollection of it, that muttered sentiment

seemed to dissolve into the wind, carrying a touch of loneliness.
However, as he clenched his fist tightly, there was a newfound determination in
his eyes.

"I'll definitely reclaim that love back… Please wait for me just a little while longer."

In response to the quiet declaration of determination, Mei…

“Understood.”

“That wasn’t an order!”

They followed the same course of action as they did back then. 8

hungry... I used to try to spend as much time alone as possible so I wouldn't take
it out on anyone..."

“Come to think of it, at first you said you don’t plan on getting along with us,
right?”

“Haven’t we grown quite accustomed to each other?"

“…It’s not like I’m tryna do that.”

A bit of vermilion flashed across Kurumi's cheeks as she looked away from the
smiling Hakari and Karane.

“Right now, just like Nano-senpai, I’m doing it because I… I like you guys.”

"That’s what a marriage proposal means!"

"That's not what I meant at all, damn it!"

"Huh!? The word association game suddenly started!?"

Then, Rentarou looked towards Kurumi, whose stomach was rumbling, in

amazement. While he could understand associating her with Cherry Blossoms
and Sakura Mochi, this leap in association seemed to be beyond his
comprehension.

“That’s just the way it is, you’ll get used to it, yep yep!”

"< That is the burden she carries. >"

“T-That’s right…”

As they were speaking, Mei quickly prepared a Consommé Soup with the
cooking utensils in the Kitchen, and Kurumi's appetite was satisfied for the time
being.

"So, getting back to the topic,"

Kurumi coughed lightly while her cheeks still had a hint of blush.

"At first, I took my frustration out on Rentarou-senpai, who was being kind to me.
But Rentarou-senpai continued to be kind to me all that time... And the
Menchi-katsu11 Sandwich he made for me here was so good... It made me very
happy..."

Blushing with embarrassment but being genuinely honest in her confession,

Rentarou and his Girlfriends couldn't help but feel a sweet, heart-fluttering

around her.

Then, she took out a Hamburger and a Katsu Sandwich from her bag.

"I don't know if it'll help you regain your Memories or not… But this time, I'm
going to make a Menchi-katsu Sandwich for Rentarou-senpai."

"The phenomenon of eliciting memories related to a specific smell, the Proust

Effect, can be expected."

Encouraged by Nano’s words, Kurumi removed the Hamburger Patty from the
Bun.

"First, to turn the Hamburger Patty into a Menchi-katsu for the sandwich..."

“…Ah!"

Seeing Kurumi washing the Patty and removing the Ketchup, Rentarou let out a
small exclamation.

"Be careful not to fry the Patty after washing it with water or the oil will splatter

As Rentarou prepared kitchen paper after giving his warning, Kurumi looked at
him with hopeful eyes.

However, there was no sign of his Memories returning, and she displayed a slight
hint of disappointment.

As they were talking, Kurumi used the kitchen paper to thoroughly remove the
moisture from the Patty and placed it in the hot oil. A pleasant sizzle
accompanied by a delicious aroma began to fill the air.

With the completed Menchi-katsu Sandwich in hand, Kurumi let out a triumphant
voice filled with a sense of accomplishment.

“Rentarou-senpai, eat up!"

She then offered it to Rentarou.

At the same time, Kurumi's expression became filled with irritation from the
moment her stomach played a melody.

“Thinking about Menchi-katsu Sandwich this whole time, I’m already in the mouth
of the Menchi-katsu Sandwich…!”

“Then you should have it yourself!”

"But this one was made for Rentarou-senpai..."

It's usually the part where she would gladly eat it, but she bit her lip and held
back.

"I want to thank you for that time… I've always wanted to repay you someday,
Rentarou-senpai…!"

As she was about to be swallowed up by frustration, Kurumi somehow managed

to tell him what she had been thinking all along.

“…I see, thank you. Then, time to dig in.”

It seemed that Rentarou was finally convinced, and this time he accepted the
Menchi-katsu Sandwich. As it moved away from her hand, Kurumi's stomach
grumbled even louder.

On the other hand, Rentarou swiftly cut the Menchi-katsu Sandwich in two with a
knife in the Kitchen.

“Here, let’s eat it together!”

He then offered a half to Kurumi.

The same hand she had once rejected not long after they first met.

"You ate the Sakura Mochi and drank the Consommé soup with great pleasure,
didn't you? I think I can enjoy my food more when I eat with someone who eats
so appetizingly."

“…Rentarou-senpai is still Rentarou-senpai, even without his memories.”

This time, Kurumi accepted it with open arms.

Then, both of them took a bite of the Menchi-katsu Sandwich together.

“SHOOOO GEWD~!!♥♥♥ ”

"Yeah, it’s very good."

Watching Kurumi expressing her joy with her entire face, Rentarou also smiled
happily.

Next up was Hahari’s turn.

“The place where we had Fond Memories of… Is it here?”

Upon arriving, Rentarou seemed a bit puzzled.

Perhaps it was because what laid before him looked like a private house, even
though it was a Mansion.

"Yes... It's the place where you and I met, the place where you and I became
lovers, the place where you became a girl, the Hanazono Household!"

"Do people normally meet in someone else's home!?"

"Wait, what the hell was that last part about?"

"You can pretty much imagine what Hahari did.”

With some cheerful chatter, they moved inside the Hanazono Household.
“Now… To stimulate your Memories, let's reenact the first time we met, shall
we?"

And so, Hahari, in the chair of a wealthy family, sat down and crossed her legs.
Next she closed her eyes and took a deep breath as if switching her
consciousness. Then, Hahari opened her eyes again and…

“RENTAROU-CHAN, PLEASE GO OUT WITH MEEEE!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥”

There was no particular switch in consciousness.

Seemingly realizing it herself, she exclaimed and then suddenly snapped back.

"I'm so sorry, I got carried away with my overflowing love for Rentarou-chan!"

"It was definitely an identical scene, though."

Karane nonchalantly tsk-ed at Hahari, who looked a little embarrassed.

"Was it like this...?"

Watching her Mother's confession scene in reality, the Daughter seemed quite
embarrassed herself.

Seeing Rentarou at a loss for words, Hakari now has a smile on her face.

Then, a little ticklish laugh this time.

As Hahari turned around, the rest of the Girlfriends nodded firmly.

“Me, doing something like that…"

Rentarou, staring at his own hands, still looked doubtful.

At the words of Kusuri as she was holding a test tube in her hands, Rentarou’s
eyes were widened.

Seeing Kusuri’s ecstatic face, Rentarou gulped.

“Uhm, playing around with Drugs… Does this school have some sort of school
culture that was passed down?”

“As of now Yakuzen Kusuri’s Drugs are still legal.”

And the words from Nano and Kurumi raised a lot of question marks.

At Rentarou’s reaction, Kusuri started giggling.

“Rentarou, you said the same thing as before, yep yep!”

can reenact it right now if you want to! And of course, I’m wearing a diaper so

And then, Rentarou looked at Shizuka with a startled look.

“Don’t tell me, you’re also…!?”

“Think about it with some common sense. There’s no way that there are two or
three people like Kusuri in the same school.”

“Common sense tells me that there is not a single person like that on this planet.”

“…If my company mass-produced Kusuri-chan’s Drug, would the Earth just

become a paradise for young children?”

While the conversation was going off-topic, Kusuri put on her glasses and tied up

Although her expression has not changed, Nano, with slightly reddened cheeks,
seemed to look somewhat pleased with her gesture.

“All there is left is to actually hop on it.”

“Eh, you’re riding too!?”

Nano then started talking towards the Ferris Wheel, as Rentarou tried to catch up
to her.

“You’re not good with heights, are you…?”

“It would be inefficient to not try it when there is still a chance that it would regain
your Memories back.”

“Doing it for my Memories, don’t force yourself…”

“Besides..”

While walking, Nano squeezed Rentarou’s hand tightly.

“I will be fine as long as I do this.”

As Nano was moving handsomely with cute gestures, Rentarou and the
Girlfriends watching from the back went “HNNG!” while holding their hearts.

And then, the tour of the Amusement Park had come to an end.

“Come to think of it, I also have that same Instant Camera.”

After taking a commemorative photo of everyone in front of the monument of the

central plaza, Rentarou pointed towards the Camera that Nano was holding in
her hand. Today, Nano was taking photos of themselves all day using that
Camera.

“After our last visit to the Amusement Park, I bought the same thing as Aijou
Rentarou.”

In the middle of those words, Rentarou held his head down with a frown.

“Last time… I was the one taking photos in this Amusement Park?”
With the muttering, Nano once again reacted with a twitch.

“Yes. Here are the photos from that time.”

And so, pulling out from her bags were a bunch of photos… with one that was
slighted charred at the edge.

“Hehe, we both seemed to be having fun that time too.”

Seeing themselves inside of the photos, Rentarou smiled happily.

“I had a lot of fun. More than I could ever have ever imagined.”

Those same words from that time were spoken again by Nano.

“But I considered it insignificant.”

“That’s…”

“It’s not, now that I know.”

The words Rentarou was trying to say to deny it, Nano took over those words
herself.

“It is because Aijou Rentarou has taught me about it..”

Nano was looking straight at Rentarou.

“The fun from an Amusement Park. The meanings of happiness. ”

Then she turned back towards everyone.

“The significance of spending time with loved ones.”

Upon hearing “Loved Ones”, the Girlfriends started making “Throbbing” faces.

“If it was me from before, I would have said that it would be more efficient to
continue living with the memory loss than to spend time to recover those
memories that may or may not return..”

Once again, Nano’s gaze was piercing straight through Rentarou.

“But now, even if it is inefficient, I want to get them back.”

In the blink of an eye.

“Because it is very important to me.”

At those straightforward and honest words, Rentarou clenched his fist. And then,
he brought it on his chest.

Understanding it, Rentarou looked at her Phone with interest while nodding.

“Certainly you can look into each other’s eyes while holding a conversation with
that.”

Then with a smile, Shizuka was a little surprised.

Rentarou closed his eyes while holding onto his head, and then slowly lifted his
eyelids.

“Sure enough, just now I saw a scene flashing across my mind where I silently

And then… After hesitating and moving her fingers a bit, she touched the screen

And with a strange curious look on her face, Kusuri took out three test tubes from
her pocket.

Rentarou took them and chugged down all three at the same time in a zap.

“Ah-!? Consuming more of the ‘Human-Magnetization Drug’ makes you more

magnetic, but the level of constipation coming from the side effects will increase
proportionally so drinking that much is really big trouble, yep yep!! Puke it out

“I’m more happy if things can be solved by just suffering through these
circumstances!”

After saying that, Rentaoru headed towards the ground.
