Job Title Trainee - Associate Data Analyst

Department Project
Report To Project Manager
JOB PURPOSE: Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements Develop tools
and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and
business case analysis to support the organization and leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling and leading MSBI projects with extensive exposure in creating reporting
solutions, data visualization, data analysis and business insights.
• Ability to handle Software Development Life Cycle
• Working with relational database management system (like Microsoft SQL Server,
Oracle).
• Writing TSQL statements, stored procedures and views using industry best practices for
security and efficiency.
• Create, test and execute SQL language code.
• Write user and technical documentation.
• Dealing global customers to gather requirements and translate them into solutions using
the necessary skills.
• Work with developers to translate requirements in to functional and technical design
documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and
implementation.
• Translates data into meaningful information and performing proof of concept analyses
• Investigate and responds to routine or standard requests
• Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Producing and managing the delivery of activity and value analytics to external
stakeholders and clients.
• Team members will typically use business intelligence, data visualization, and query,
analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data.
• Work on predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics and tend to leverage
subject matter expert views in the design of their analytics and algorithms.
• Primary job responsibilities include:
• Conducting analysis, performing normalization operations and assuring data
quality. Creating specifications to bring data into a common structure
• Creating product specifications and reporting models

• Desire and ability to learn new skills, systems and processes
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Experience in writing TSQL statements, stored procedures and views using industry best
practices for security and efficiency.
• Create, test and execute SQL language code.
• Experience in database design, programming, and implementation using SQL
• Extensive experience in reporting or visualization tool (SSRS, Tableau, Excel, Power
Query)
• Must have working experience with MSBI Tools: MSBI (SSIS, SSAS)
• Well-developed written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Should be able to work with minimum support/mentoring.
• Able to write user and technical documentation.
• Hands on experience with dealing global customers to gather requirements and
translate them into solutions using the necessary skills.
• Work with developers to translate requirements in to functional and technical design
documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and
implementation.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics,

Computer Science, Business or a related field. Certificate or Diploma in Data Analytics.
EXPERIENCE: 0 – 2 years of experience in data preparation, data management, data
visualization, data analysis
NATURE OF JOB: Analytics & Business Intelligence
WORK HOURS : Trainees should be willing to work in the Eastern Standard Time (US time).
LOCATION: Pune, MH. (Currently WFH)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Training for 6 months, Confirmation based on performance during
the training.
MANDATORY REQUIRMENT : Laptop, Broadband connection and a space to work without
disturbance at home.
