explain how these elements help a performance in conveying an idea or
theme on peace education, specifically on national and global awareness.

Before we proceed, let us first unlock some key terms for us to better
understand our main task today. Please bring out your notebook and
write the following words:

Possible Answer: Dialogue is the spoken word in a performance. It is
essential for character development and plot progression.

6. Dance
Possible Answer: Dance adds a physical dimension to a performance,

7. Media
Possible Answer: Media elements in performance include the use of
projections, videos, lighting, sound effects, and digital technologies. These

8. Props and Costumes

Possible Answer: Props and costumes are integral to enhancing theatrical
plays by enriching the visual and narrative dimensions of the performance.
They establish the setting and atmosphere, transporting audiences to
different worlds and historical periods. Costumes aid in character
development by visually defining personalities, social status, and cultural

We have here a shadow play by a group of performers, El Gamma

Penumbra, best known for being the winners of the first season of Asia's
Got Talent. First, we will watch a video of their performance. Afterwards,
we will read a descriptive article about it together to give us some context
about the elements of the performance. While reading, please pay

Idea/Stem performance. Also, underline any words that are unfamiliar to you and
search for their meanings afterward.
