Demolding
Machine
Technical Manual

Proud
Brazil
This memorial aims at describing the electrical systems that were developed for the
operation of the universal demolding machine.

Technical Information according to NBR. A single-line diagram follows next to the

equipment describing all of the electrical components installed on the switchboard.

Equipment for control and protection:

• General protection circuit breaker;

• IDR Device (electrical protection of people and establishments);

• 40ºC Factory Set Temperature Controller Thermostat, which can be re-

programmed by the customers according to their local temperature needs;

• Interconnection Contactor;

• 220V Electric Resistance;

• Motor Pump for Water Circulation.

The equipment is shipped assembled according to NBR 5410 technical safety
standards.

The Universal Demolding Machine Equipment must be solidly grounded. It follows

with a connection cable and a 20-amp plug, in accordance with NBR 5410 techni-
cal standards.

Every Universal Demolding Machine undergoes rigorous operating tests.

• THE EQUIPMENT DOES NOT WORK

Possible causes

• Unplugged power cord;

• Contactors with poor contact;

• Burnt Resistor;

• Terminals of electrical conductors with poor contact.

NOTE: For verification of the electrical system, the equipment must be discon-
nected from the power point.

• THE POPSICLE IS GETTING STUCK IN THE MOLD

• Possibly the pump flow switch is in position 1, according to figure A .

Please correct it and put it in position 2, according to figure B.

A B

If the problem persists, make sure all

tubes are flowing freely, according to
figure C. If any tube gets clogged, it is
probable that one cavity will be locking
the others, making the withdrawal im-
possible. C

The equipment is factory set to position 2, according to figure B, and the minimum
or closed flow rate regulator, according to figures D and E:

D E
In this regulation, you have about 15 seconds to remove the popsicles from the
mold. On average, in 5 seconds you can already remove them. When removing
the mold to put another, the time to make the level of the upper tank return is 2
seconds, on average.

In case you want a faster level return, it
will be necessary to put the pump in po-
sition 3, according to figure F.

Put the flow regulator at maximum flow

rate, otherwise when the mold is insert- G
ed, the water of the upper tank will pos-
sibly overflow. Even though you do not
insert the mold, the upper tank will over-
flow in case you do not leave the flow
regulator fully open, in accordance with
figures G and H.
