DISCUSSION:
Digestive System – is made up of group of organs that work together to
digest food so it can be used by the body. It consists of the Mouth,
Esophagus, Stomach, Small intestine, Large intestines and the accessory
organs which include the Salivary glands, Gall bladder and Liver.
PRACTICE EXERCISES 2
Direction: Arranging the sequence of events.
A. Arrange the following statements according to the process of digestion
and absorption in
the body. Number each of the steps according to the sequence it occurs.
_______ A. Water is absorbed.
_______ B. Food is broken down into smaller pieces.
_______ C. Nutrients pass through the bloodstream.
_______ D. Wastes are removed from the body.
