● Transitioned monolithic Django projects to microservices architecture for flagship products using AWS
services such as ECS, ECR, EC2, Cloudwatch and S3. Reduced overall cost by 90% and developer &
deployment effort by 50% in shipping new features. Worked with product and design teams for this
transition.
● Led a team of 8 engineers to develop and implement a secure/unsecure live streaming solution for site
activity monitoring. The solution enabled streaming from mobile applications to web browsers via the ANT
Media Server, which significantly reduced operational costs and provided portable monitoring capabilities.
● Evaluated and integrated multi-factor authentication with various SSOs including PING, Microsoft AD Cloud
across multiple products. Increased security by 80%.
● Architected and implemented a robust centralized admin web application to manage user access across
globally distributed databases. Utilized AWS services including Secrets Manager, RDS, Security Groups, and
Elasticache to ensure secure and efficient connectivity. Collaborated closely with the Product team to deliver
an end-to-end solution.
● Implemented multi-company tenancy architecture involved in project planning, AWS costing, building,
deploying, and supporting operations. Resulted in a 90% reduction in overall costs and deployment of new
features by 50%.
● Integrated DevOps workflow and built delivery pipelines using Docker, and Gitlab. Trained developers in
continuous integration and deployment resulting in reduced deployment time by 60% and production errors
by 80%.
