1. INTRODUCTION
This report provides a comprehensive summary of my experiences and achievements
during my internship as an HR Intern at GGC PTA, held from October 17, 2024, to October
25, 2024. The primary goal of this internship was to offer practical exposure to core human
resource functions, including recruitment processes, employee engagement initiatives, and
day-to-day HR operations. Over the course of this seven-day program, I was able to deepen
my understanding of essential HR practices, actively contribute to team projects, and gain
hands-on experience in a professional environment. This report outlines the tasks and
responsibilities I managed during the internship, highlights the key learning outcomes, and
reflects on the valuable insights gained throughout my time with the organisation.
● Assisted in sourcing, collecting, and thoroughly screening candidate CVs for specific
job openings, ensuring alignment with job descriptions and organisational
requirements. This process provided hands-on experience with resume evaluation
criteria and familiarised me with key indicators of candidate suitability.
● Enhanced professional communication skills by managing direct correspondence with
candidates. This included initial outreach, responding to inquiries, and conducting
follow-up communications, all of which contributed to a positive candidate
experience and reinforced the organisation’s brand.
● Gained practical experience in the recruitment and selection cycle, learning to apply
interview techniques, evaluate candidate fit, and refine selection criteria. This
exposure was instrumental in understanding best practices for attracting and
onboarding top talent, as well as effectively promoting the organisation’s programs
and career opportunities to prospective candidates.

Target Audience: Friends, peers, and family members looking to take control of their
finances and invest in long-term financial well-being.
Task Description:
As part of the resume collection process, I utilized social media and personal networks to
gather candidate CVs and create an organized system for tracking applicant information.
Using Microsoft Excel, I developed a structured spreadsheet to log key applicant details,
which helped streamline the recruitment workflow and ensured efficient access to relevant
information throughout the process.

5. Conclusion
My internship at GGC PTA was an enriching experience that provided me with invaluable
hands-on exposure to professional HR practices. The opportunity to engage with real-world
recruitment and hiring processes allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical
setting, enhancing my understanding and skills.
I am deeply grateful for the mentorship and support provided by the GGC PTA team, who

as an excellent organization for anyone seeking to grow their skills and gain valuable
experience in HR.
