This project is based on the order management functionality of an online retail store in which you are provided
with the “orders” database and identified trends and patterns using oracle database. This will help the company in making
data-driven decisions that will impact the overall growth of the online retail store.

This project explored the art of problem-solving with the aid of visual analytics. Tableau’s data visualization

Time Series Forecasting for a consumer goods appliance company.


Company sells varied products among major cities in India. From the data we understood that overall sales will
increase in the coming year and sales are always high in Mumbai. Hence a production wing nearby will be beneficial in
terms of transport. Kolkata, one among the top 3 performers forecasted a decreasing trend. Increase in marketing
strategies could be useful. Coolers also recorded a decreasing forecast. However, their requirement in coastal areas is
extremely high during summer. The sale of water heaters among all the cities is estimated to increase. Therefore,
maintaining appropriate inventory is required.
