Introduction
This document describes the new features, hash digest values, open caveats, and resolved caveats in
Version 1.93 for the D9859 Advanced Receiver Transcoder.
New Features
The following lists the new feature for Version 1.93:
■ Support new Synamedia licenses.
Note To load Synamedia licenses, the D9859 Advanced Receiver Transcoder must be
upgraded to Version 1.93.
You can download and install Synamedia licenses through the Synamedia License Portal
(https://www.synamedia.com/license). For details, contact Synamedia Customer Support Desk.
Note Bulk licensing for a group of receivers is not currently supported by the Synamedia
License Portal. You can apply a license file to a single unit only.
When you activate a certificate, the License Management page displays the license keys
according to the PIDs purchased. The following table provides a mapping of the purchased
license PIDs and the software license keys.

Note The LIC-D9859-HD-CH license PID requires both 1 HD_
Transcode license key and 1 SD_Transcode license key.

Hash Digest Values
You can generate the hash digest to verify the integrity of the software and FPGA versions running
on the D9859 transcoder. For more information on generating the hash digest values, see D9859
Advanced Receiver Transcoder Installation and Configuration Guide.
The following table lists the official D9859 V1.93 hash digest values.

Open Caveats
The following is a list of open caveats in Version 1.93. The bug ID is for internal reference purposes
only.
Bug ID Description
CSCut63002 Possible erroneous ASI muting and unmuting messages, without specific reasons in
the upstream.
CSCvc52209 Distorted SD subtitle is displayed when SD output (H-Res) is set to 528, 544, or 480.
Resolved Caveats
The following lists a resolved caveat in Version 1.93. The bug ID is for internal reference purposes
