How to use DTS 9

1.Click the DTS9 software icon to start DTS9;

2.Different car series choose different connection modes. For Mercedes-Benz 206/223/297/167
series, you can choose the first “ISO_DOIP_SMR”, using DOIP VCI or VCI connection that supports
Ethernet protocol; if it is a 213 series car produced in 2021, you can choose “eCOM_SMR” or
“SDConnect_SMR”,click”open workspace”to connect a car.

5.After successfully connecting to the car, you will be able to read the car ECU, green means
communication, red means no communication, and yellow means ECU failure(If you cannot
successfully connect to the car, you need a ZenZefi license)
6.If this window is displayed when connecting to the car, it means that some ECU files are missing.
Most files can be found in the Xentry directory,you can search in the xentry directory.
7.If you need to reconnect or connect to another car, you do not need to close the software. You
can select "Communication and control reset" to reset the connection and then start a new
connection.

8.DTS ECU Certification Function


Installing a new ECU requires certification. Click the certification function, select the ECU that
needs to be certified, click Calculate, and then click Certify.

The DTS9 ecu programming function is very similar to that of DTS8. DTS9 only adds the
authentication function. Moreover, after DTS9 ECU is programmed, it will automatically restart
the ECU, so there is no need to restart the ECU manually.
16. DTS 8.14 use,how to program W223 with DTS8.14?
DTS8.14/DTS8.16 requires the use of xentry's zezefi license. Import the programming license to
program W223 and clear the ECU's DTCS error. Open the zenzefi management page and import
the license.

When DTS imports files, you often encounter different file lengths. Sometimes a flash file is
needed, and you can check whether the software ID is the same; sometimes you don’t need to
import a flash file, you can manually add 0 until the file name length is the same. The input
method needs to use standard English.
