JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a strong Senior Python Developer able to work directly with
product managers to design and implement software projects. This is an exciting job with room for
significant career growth.

Please note: you must have at least 5 years of experience as a Python software developer with
experience in payment systems (ISO8583, WP RAFT, or Fiserv) to be considered for this job.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY & EXPERIENCE

●​ Write and maintain reusable, testable, and efficient code using Python.
●​ Python experience for the web using Django, Flask, etc.
●​ Strong experience with payment systems (ISO8583, WP RAFT or Fiserv).
●​ Automate unit tests.
●​ Handle some frontend development work and a lot of backend development work.
●​ Deep understanding of relational databases.
●​ Deep experience with Microservices Architecture.
●​ Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
●​ Strong problem-solving abilities, fast research, and learning skills.
●​ Experience with Scrum methodology.
●​ Ability to handle complex technical implementation.
●​ Ability to maintain and enhance existing applications and create new applications from
scratch.
●​ Collaborate with operations and engineering teams in determining the root cause of major
incidents, performance anomalies, etc.
●​ Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills and ability to
write clear technical documentation.
●​ Advanced communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
