Superscript and Subscript in HTML
Superscript: Superscripts are often used in mathematical expressions or units of
measurement. For example:
Area of a square: A = s2
Einstein's equation: E = mc2
Chemical notation: H2O
Subscript: Subscripts are often used in chemical formulas or scientific indices. For example:
Chemical formula for water: H2O
Mathematical indices: an = an-1 + an-2
CO2 levels in the atmosphere
You can combine superscript and subscript in the same text to represent complex formulas or
expressions.
