Multi Print (Utilisation)

Configuring Multi-Print
The application places a new icon on the main Draft form. This form is controlled by the file %PDMSUI%/DRA/GEN/FSYSTEM. A modified version of this file is included with this software. The default version of FSYSTEM will function correctly with PDMS Versions11.3 and 11.4, however if you wish to run at PDMS version11.2 you will need to utilise the supplied file FSYSTEM_112 in place of the default FSYSTEM.

The defaults file %PDMSUI%/Dflts/DRA-MULTI-PRINT This file contains the search rules used on the Multi-Print form. Each line contains three pieces of information separated by a semicolon: The first piece is the description The second piece is the Draft element that we are searching for. The third piece is the attribute to be tested.
--- Drawing Search Options --- Display text; Element Type; Element Attribute Drwg Name;DRWG;NAME Drwg Date;DRWG;DATE Drwg Author;DRWG;AUTH Rev Number;REVI;RVSN Rev Desc;REVI;STEX Rev Date;REVI;RVDT

The application takes the search string entered by the user and scans for all database elements whose attribute fits the rule. Any number of rules can be created and any attribute can be used including UDA s.

You can choose to display the Drawing Number or Line Number as alternatives to the PDMS name. The Sheets owned by the drawing will be listed below the Drawings list.
