Oracle Project Costing is used to capture and process all project costs.

Facilitates tracking of tasks, resources and costs by Projects.

Expenditures and Burdening You can enter transactions directly into Oracle Project Costing or load transactions from external transaction collection systems. Enter expenditure batches via online entry, data import, expenditure copy, or Microsoft Excel.

Transaction and Budgetary Controls Set up transaction controls based on expenditure category, expenditure type, employee, or non-labor resource. Create budgetary controls to check for available project funds. Budget can be at summary or detailed level.

Resource Sharing Administration

Define multiple types of resource sharing intercompany, interoperating unit, and intra-operating unit.

Configure resource sharing administration methods borrowed and lent accounting, intercompany billing accounting, or no cross charge.

Oracle Project Billing gives the flexibility to have processes that meet multiple contract types, stringent customer billing requirements and internal accounting policies. You can accrue revenue and generate invoices based on time and material rates and markups, % spent, % complete etc. For each customer contract, you can configure a unique set of revenue accrual or billing methods and bill your client based on terms you agreed upon costs, events, or work progress. Provides robust inter project Billing ability. Parts of the work performed may be billed externally to a customer while other work may be billed internally to another project. Control billing by top tasks and configure hard and soft limits for billing amounts.

Workplan Management Oracle Project Management tracks the projects complete workplan, tasks, milestones, and lifecycle phases. For each task in your workplan, you can capture task type, multiple sets of task dates, task status and priority. You can choose to view your workplan in a Gantt display format that graphically displays the task schedule, progress, task managers, and comparisons between workplan versions.

Integration to other scheduling tools, including Primavera and Artemis, is also facilitated.
