Worship
Why Study Worship?
As human beings, it is what we were created to do. We are always worshipping something!
Worship
What is it?
When does it happen? What can be worshipped?
As a book of the Bible, the Psalms are the only inspired hymnal! The principles about worship found in the Psalms still apply to us today.
Worship is recognizing someone or something as more important than yourself and giving them the respect they deserve.
Psalm 6:4-5 Return, O Lord, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness. For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol who will give You thanks?
Psalm 30:9
What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?
Worship is not something we do on Thursday night or Sunday morning. Everything we do is an act of worship. True worship is a lifestyle.
