    WHY ARE
    THERE WAR

     The first war crimes trials were held after
    WWII in Nuremberg and in Tokyo
     The atrocities seen in WWII were on a greater
    scale than seen in previous wars
     The Nuremberg and Tokyo Trials were
    attempts by the Allies to hold German and
    Japanese leaders accountable for the policies
    and tactics they had used during the war
     A major criticism of these trials was that it
    was just “victors justice”
