    1. There are many signs of an intellectual disability. For
    example, children with an intellectual disability may:
    2. sit up, crawl, or walk later than other children;
    3. learn to talk later, or have trouble speaking,
    4. find it hard to remember things,
    5. not understand how to pay for things,
    6. have trouble understanding social rules,
    7. have trouble seeing the consequences of their
    actions,
    8. have trouble solving problems, and/or
    9. have trouble thinking logically.

    How are Intellectual Disabilities


    Diagnosed?
    Intellectual disabilities are diagnosed by
    looking at two main things.
    1. Intellectual functioning
    2. Adaptive behavior

    the rights mandated by law are provided to their children.
