    Stainless Steel 17-4PH Round Bar is a combination of copper and chromium precipitate,
    processed together to form what is known as type 360 of stainless steel alloy. This alloy
    has very high strength but a moderate to medium level of resistance to corrosives and
    abrasive matter, hence mostly used to manufacture products and components, that are
    mostly used in less harsh condition where the presence of strong chemicals and acids is
    less prevalent. They have a very high melting point and do not lose their physical
    composure until 600 degree Celsius, and can be actively used in any high temperature
    applications.

    The round bars forged from Stainless Steel 17-4PH Round Bar are made for applications,
    where wear and tear mostly occurs at high temperature. Its core structure is strengthened
    by addition of copper, niobium and carbon in adequate quantities. The bars have excellent
    hardening properties which are observed during the pre-processing of them by using
    sawing, milling and drilling of the bar. A stock stainless steel round bar is chosen and
    custom processed as per the needs of the application. Rods may be given blanks, notches
    or specific holes after calculated measurements. The alloy grade 340 or 430 has excellent
    resistance to alkaline or saline solutions as compared to a ordinary alloy.
