MARKETS IN INDIA .
The financial market is divided into two types
of the market - Money market and Capital
market. While money market securities are
short-term in nature.

are the regulatory authorities governing
Indian capital markets” .
The Ministry of Finance is an important ministry
within the Government of India concerned with
the economy of India, serving as the Indian
Treasury Department. In particular, it concerns
itself with taxation, financial legislation, financial
institutions, capital markets, centre and state
finances, and the Union Budget .
The Department of Economic affairs directly
manages the capital markets segment under the
directions of MoF .
This segment regulated the Indian capital
