    Board of directors
    1.Mr. Sultan Ali Allana Chairman

    Mr. Sultan Ali Allana is a Director of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) and
    has the oversight responsibilities for AKFED's investments in Banking, Insurance and Aviation. Mr.
    Allana is a career banking professional with over 32 years of experience in retail, corporate and
    investment banking. Mr. Allana is also the Chairman of HBL, which is the largest bank in Pakistan
    with over 1,700 branches and a presence in 25 countries around the world.
    Since 1997, Mr. Allana has also been serving as a Director of the Tourism Promotion Services
    Pakistan Limited, the owners and the operators of the Serena Hotels in Pakistan.
    2. Mr. Shaffiq Dharamshi Director

    Mr. Dharamshi joined the Board in 2015. He is a banker with over 25 years of
    banking experience in the Middle East and Africa. He also currently serves on the
    Boards of Diamond Trust Bank, Tanzania, Diamond Trust Bank, Uganda, Diamond
    Trust Bank, Kenya, DCB Bank Limited, India, Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank,
    Kyrgyzstan and First Microfinance Bank, Tajikistan
    3. Mr. Moez Ahamed Jamal Director

    Mr. Moez Ahamed Jamal has been on the Board of HBL since 2009. He has over 39
    years of experience in the financial sector. He currently serves on the Boards of
    Diamond Trust Bank Kenya, Marquand Family Office, Switzerland, Jubilee
    Holdings Limited and Global Finanz Agency AG.
    4.Mr. Salem Raza Director

    Mr. Salem Raza joined the Board in 2017. He has over 40 years of experience in the
    banking and financial sector. He has held various positions at Citibank NA in Pakistan and
    abroad and has also held the position of Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan. He
    currently serves on the Board of International Steels Limited and is an adjunct professor at
    the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi for Political Economy.
    5. Dr. Najeeb Samie Director

    Dr. Najeeb Samie was appointed to the Board in 2013. He has over 37 years of
    experience in the corporate and financial sector. He is currently the Managing Director of
    Roosevelt Hotel Corporation and is a Director of PIA Investments Limited and Minhal
    France, S.A, amongst other tourism related companies.
    6.Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb President & CEO

    Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb joined HBL on April 30, 2018 as the President & CEO of
    HBL. He has done his Bachelors of Science and Masters in Business Administration from
    The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA and possesses an overall banking
    experience of more than 30 years of working at both domestic and international locations.
    He has held senior positions in ABN Amro Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland and was
    Chief Executive Officer – Global Corporate Bank for JP Morgan Bank prior to joining
    HBL.

    Mr. Sagheer Mufti Chief Operating Officer
    A new position has been established in the Board of HBL, the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
    Mr. Sagheer Mufti has been appointed as HBL’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will join
    his new office in HBL from January 8th, 2018.Sagheer Mufti has 34 years of experience
    working in Citigroup and he has worked in country, regional, and global-level operations,
    technology and compliance. He was Citibank’s Global Head of Anti-Money Laundering
    Operations.
    Mr. Amir Irshad Head - Branch Banking

    Amir Irshad is currently Head, Branch Banking - HBL - Habib Bank


    At HBL - Habib Bank, Amir Irshad has 33 colleagues who can be contacted including

    Standard Chartered Bank as Head of HR for Pakistan and Head of HR for South
    Asia.
