MUNICIPALITY OF BATO, CAMARINES SUR

Legal Officer Regional Legal Service Camp General Simeon A Ola Legazpi City APPLICATION This Code shall apply to natural or juridical persons, children, parents and guardians living or sojourning in the Municipality of Bato, Camarines. ABANDONED CHILD BULLYING CHILD ABUSE CHILD LABOR CHILD LABOR CHILD IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW DEBT BONDAGE PORNOGRAPHY TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS RIGHTS OF A CHILD a. Right to have a name; b. Right to have happy family; c. Right to live in clean and pleasant place; d. Right to be informed of their rights; RIGHTS OF A CHILD e. Right to proper guidance from parents and elders; f. Rights to be protected from abuse; g. Right to be subjected to any worst form of labor; RIGHTS OF A CHILD i. Rights to showcase his/her skills and talents; j. Rights to engage in physical and spiritual activity; k. Rights to due process of child in conflict of the law; m. Right to education; RIGHTS OF A CHILD o. Rights to provide basic commodities such as shelter, clothing; p. Right to be heard without fear of rejection; q. Right to be respected and loved by their parents; RIGHTS OF A CHILD r. Rights to be protected from calamities such as typhoons, floods, landslides, earthquake. PRIMARY RIGHT OF PARENTS The parent shall have the right to company their children and in relation to all other persons or institutions dealing with child's development, primary rights and obligation to provide for their upbringing, DUTIES OF PARENT a. Nurture their children in the knowledge of the Almighty Creator; b. Ensure that their children have at least three (3) meals everyday; c. Ensure that their children have access to quality education; DUTIES OF PARENT d. Full access to health service; e. Provide children from forms of abuse; f. At the barangay level, if a child is in conflict with the law is below fifteen (15) is apprehended, he shall be turned over to his parents or guardian. In absence of both, shall be turnover ot BCPC. No video game rental shops and similar
establishment shall operate within a 50 meters radius from any scholl or learning institution. BAN ON SELLING CIGARETTES AND LIQUOR No individual or establishment shall sell cigarette, liquor and other addictive substances to minors nor shall minors be allowed to sell substances. PROHIBITION ON MINORS DRIVING PEDICABS/MOTORCYCLE Adults who allow or encourage minor to drive shall be subject to fines in accordance with the existing ordinances. PROHIBITION ON STAYING OUTSIDE AT NIGHT ALONG THE STREETS OR PUBLIC PLACES Children are prohibited form staying from 10:00pm to 4:00am unless accompanied by parent, sibling, legal guardian to ensure their safety. RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARENT TO DISCIPLINE THEIR CHILDREN
The parents shall exercise positive forms
