Everyone should have one. For this sign, the area around the pupillary margin will look gray. Indicates: Tendency for a deficiency in digestion and absorption of nutrients. The wider and darker the area, the more tendency for deficiency. Revised/Current Terminology Acute Inflammation: Now called: One raised white fiber is called a Reflexive Sign. When raised white fibers are clumped together the sign is called a Cord. Observe: Raised white fibers can be in a specific organ area. Indicates: Tendency for reactivity such as discharge, fever, pain, sensitivity, or inflammation in that organ. Nutrients may be used at a faster rate. Revised/Current Terminology Anemia in Extremities: Now called early stages of cholesterol ring, also called corneal arcus or corneal opacity Observe: At the periphery of the iris a translucent, hazy covering. Revised/Current Terminology Genetically Mixed Iris Color: Now called Mixed or Biliary Observe: Presence of both blue and brown coloration in the iris. Not a result of toxicity. Note the velvet-like appearance of brown area due to melanin pigmentation. Iris fibers are clearly visible in unpigmented areas. Indicates: Tendency for liver and bowel disorders. Indicates: This person can have the genetic tendencies of a Biliary type (mixed iris color) with problems with the liver and bowel as well as lymphatic (blue iris) tendencies of sinus congestion, lung congestion, or aching joints. Revised/Current Terminology Healing Signs (Blue Iris): Now called: Connective Tissue in the iris. Observe: White fibers within a lacuna making a criss-cross appearance. Indicates: Normal fibrous tissue found in the irises of all people; well, sick, old, young. Revised/Current Terminology Healing Signs (Brown Iris): Now called: Connective Tissue in the iris. Observe: Fibers within a lacuna making a criss-cross appearance. Indicates: Normal fibrous tissue found in the eyes of all people; sick, well, old, young Revised/Current Terminology Lymphatic Rosary: Now called Lymphatic Rosary, flocculations of tophi, or Hydrogenoid Subtype Observe: Just around the periphery of the iris, small, white beads, clouds or pearls, resembling a rosary. Revised/Current Terminology Open Lesion: Now Called Open Lacuna Observe: A separation (rarification) of iris fibers resembling a flower petal that is open at one or both ends. Indicates: When the lacuna is very white, there will be a tendency for more acute reactivity such as inflammation or drainage. The darker the lacuna, the less the ability of the organ to react. Still the open lacuna represents more activity than the closed - greater ability to release toxins. Revised/Current Terminology Overacid Body Chemistry: Now called Overacid Subtype Observe: A predominant whiteness throughout the iris. Indicates: Tendency for acidity throughout the body. May have aching joints, arthritic tendencies, allergies, kidney imbalances. Revised/Current Terminology Radii Solaris: Now called Radial Furrows Observe: Rays or spokes radiating from the pupil or Collarette. Indicates: Tendency for nerve depletion.
