    Coupling
    • Coupling is a device used to connect two shafts for the
    purpose of transmitting power and torque.
    • For good coupling it is essential to transmit the complete
    power and torque.
    • It is used to reduce the transmission of shock loads from
    one shaft to another shaft and also used to connect the
    driving and driven parts.
    Process for manufacturing coupling
    • The drawing of components is provided by the customer.
    • According to customer drawing CAD model is developed.
    • The raw material EN36 is used to manufacture.
    • The CAD model is inserted as a input to the CNC system.
    • Manufacturing steps:
    1)CNC lathe machine was used for facing , turning, and
    chamfering.
    2)CNC drilling machine was used to drilling and boring.
    3)CNC milling machine is use for surface finishing.
    • After proper machining the product is tested and is ready
    for dispatched.
