History
O FDX corporation is import/export company, incorporated Oct 2 1997
in Delaware US.
O FDX corporation was founded on Jan 1998 with acquisition of
CALIBER SYS INC.
O In 2000 FDX changed its name to FedEx corporation & re-branded
all its subsidiaries. Federal Express became FedEx Express.
O It late acquired KINKO’s INC & later named it FedEx Kinko's. Later
in 2008 it became FedEx Office.
O In 2014 FedEx incorporated with CHHABR SMOLEY ORG &
superior Drugs.
O FedEx was alleged of distributing controlled substances to customers
who had no legal medical need of those drugs. They later justified
themselves saying “they are transportation company & not law

O FedEx’s acquisitions fall into three main categories:
O Third-Party Logistics: This category saw the most deals by
FedEx.
In 2016, the company acquired TNT Express for $4.78B. TNT
Express operates in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-
Pacific, and the Americas.
In 2014, the company acquired GENCO, a third-party logistics
provider specializing in reverse logistics, for$1.4B. FedEx also
acquired Supaswift – Operating Business that year. The
company has extensive operations in Africa, providing service to
South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, and Zambia.
