They’re beasts of burden, able to do almost everything
that needs to be done on the rice fields, including carry
the farmer and his goods.
NATIONAL HOUSE: BAHAY
KUBO
Bony, yet prized for its belly fat, who almost everyone
fights for on the dinner table. The bangus or milkfish has
long been seen as the country’s national fish, yet without
a law, it’s status will never be official.
NATIONAL HERO: DR. JOSE
RIZAL WHY RIZAL IS OUR NATIONAL
HERO?
He fought for freedom in a silent
but powerful way.
He expressed his love for the
Philippines through his novels,
essays and articles rather than
through the use of force or
aggression.
He was humble, fighting for
reforms through his writings
instead of through a revolution.
He used his intelligence, talents
and skills in a more peaceful way
rather than the aggressive way
He passed the criteria during the
American period
