    John Calvin was a protestant reformer for
    his influential writing, Institutes of the
    Christian Religion, which eventually
    became a “ handbook of Protestant
    doctrine.” Like his Protestant counterparts,
    he put primacy on the sacred scripture as a
    source of belief, rejected the papacy and
    stressed on divine grace for salvation. But
    he went to the extreme in his teaching on

    To Become good in Protestantism is nearly the same in Catholicism. Protestantism
    relies on the sacred scriptures as a primary source of belief which goodness, is
    following the teaching of Jesus Christ as the mediator of god and man and following
    the commandments bestowed upon us by God. To prevent becoming evil is following
