    is a form of broadcasting in which a television signal is
    transmitted by radio waves from a terrestrial (Earth based)
    transmitter of a television station to TV receivers having an
    antenna.
    Technical

    Studio
    o Typically located at a commercial facility and includes
    whatever tools necessary to produce professional results in
    the most efficient way possible.
    o Television studios should be deadened through use of
    draperies and considerable sound absorption material on walls
    and ceiling.
    Microphone
    Broadcasting microphones are used in tv studios and are ideal
    for announcing and voice-overs, thus used in our Radio & TV
    Broadcasting Program.

    Used on the world first ever sound films or "Talkies" These
    mics were suspended on ropes above the studio floor.

    One of the most versatile and widely used broadcast


    microphones of its time, from news, radio, motion picture
    sound and recording studios, this microphone captured it all.

    BBC until the late 1950’s.

    Similar handheld versions were also used by Pathe and


    Movitone News, etc.

    which had mutiple uses in its different forms.

    Handheld microphones, that were primarily designed to be


    used in the television industry. Can often be seen in old
    footage being used by News reporters and Gameshow hosts.
    Camera
    Is a high-end device for creating electronic moving images.
    The very heart of a video camera is its imaging device. The first
    TV cameras used rather large tubes.
    Iconoscope
    a camera tube containing an electron gun and a photoemissive
    mosaic screen of which each cell produces a charge
    proportional to the varying light intensity of the image focused
    on the screen.
    Control Room
    is the technical hub of a broadcast operation common among
    most over-the-air television stations and television networks.

    Final point before a signal is transmitted over the air


    TV Transmitter
    It is an electronic device that radiates radio waves that carry
    a video signal representing moving images, along with a
    synchronized audio channel, which is receieved by television
    receivers belonging to a public audience, which display the
    image on screen
    INDOOR ANTENNA
    May be mounted on the television itself or stand on a table
    next to it, connected to the television by a short feed line. Due
    to space contraints indoor antennas cannot be as large and
    elaborate as outdoor antennas, and they are not mounted at as
    high an elevation; for these reasons indoor antennas generally
    do not give as good reception as outdoor antennas
    In the Philippines, broadcasters operate TV transmission
    stations in both Very High Frequency (VHF): 54 MHz - 72
    MHz, 76 MHz – 88 MHz and 174 MHz - 216MHz (TV
    Channels 2 to 13) and Band IV - Ultra High Frequency (UHF):
    512 MHz – 698 MHz (TV Channels 14 to 51).
    From the beginning of TV broadcasting in the country back in
    1953, when the first publicly announced television broadcast
    occurred, the number of TV stations has increased to around
    2281 in 2006 to 3722 in 2011 and to 4353 in 2014.
