CREDIT ASSOCIATION THAT WAS ORGANIZED
UNDER THIS LAW WAS THE AGRICULTURAL
CREDIT COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION OF
CABANATUAN, NUEVA ECIJA.

• Improper use of credits by the bonomers who, instead
of using money borrowed for production, spent it for
luxuries
• Political Interference particularly in the collection of
overdue accounts
• Lack of compensation of officers
COMPANY
OF COOPERATIVES
The Metro South Cooperative Bank (MSCB)

It is the only cooperative bank in the National


Capital Region (NCR). It is a unique bank
registered with the Cooperative Development
Authority (CDA) as a cooperative, and with the
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), as a bank
under the rural banking system. Based in Makati
City, it started its commercial operation in March
24, 1997 soon after the BSP issued a certificate
of authority to the bank to operate as a
cooperative bank pursuant to Republic Act No.
6938 and Monetary Board NO.745.
ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative
• It is the largest cooperative in the country with an
asset base of nearly 12.29 Billion pesos as of
December 2014. In 2015,  they are awarded as the
Gawad Parangal Most Outstanding Cooperative Large
Scale Category by the Cooperative Development
Authority.  This is a statement to the ACDI’s
sustainable growth and contributions to people
empowerment, social development and nation
building
• As of the year 2014, ACDI is operating a total of 80
offices strategically located across the entire
Philippines, a move to make their services closer to
and at the convenience of their members.  Their head
office is situated at BGen. Felix T. Pestana (Ret) Bldg.,
with an Annex at Col. Godofredo M. Juliano Bldg.,
both in Western Bicutan, Taguig City.
