Introduction
• The Coca-Cola company is an American multinational beverage
corporation established in January 29, 1892 and the company invented
Coca-Cola in 1886 by Pharmacist John Stith Pemberton.
• The company is a total beverage company with products sold in more than
200 countries.
• The Coca-Cola company has interest in the manufacturing retailing and
marketing of nonalcoholic beverage.
Introduction of Coca-Cola Nepal
• The Coca-Cola was introduced to the Nepalese market in 1973 by
importing from India. In 1979 the local production od coca cola started in
Nepal.
• There are two bottling plants one in Kathmandu and another in Bharatpur
which is known as Bottlers Nepal Terai.
• The plant has both returnable glass bottles and pet packaging lines.
• The brand of coca cola Nepal are Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola zero, Fanta,
Fanta Lemon, Kinley water, Kinley soda.

• Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI, formerly Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines, Inc.) is


a Philippines based company engaged in the bottling and distribution of Coca-Cola products in
the country.
• CCBPI is part of the Bottling Investment Group (BIG), The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC)-owned
bottling operation intent on building a foundation for long-term success.
• BIG’s operations are primarily focused on markets in Southeast Asia, India, and Southwest Asia,
covering 14 countries with 39 plants and 16,500 employees, serving 1.8 billion consumers.
• The company was founded in 1981 as Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. and renamed Coca-
Cola FEMSA Philippines, Inc. on January 25, 2013 after becoming jointly owned by Mexico-
based Coca-Cola FEMSA.

• On August 17, 2018, The Coca-Cola Company announced that its Bottling
Investments Group (BIG) agreed to acquire the 51% stake in the company
held by Coca-Cola FEMSA.
• In December 2018, BIG completed its acquisition of Coca-Cola FEMSA
Philippines’ bottling operations. The company was then renamed Coca-
Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. as a reflection of its ambition to build a
total beverages company.
