encompasses protection of personnel from criminal
act.
PERSONNEL SECURITY
is the sum total of procedures followed, inquiries
conducted and criteria applied to determine the work
suitable of a particular applicant or retention or
transfer of a particular employee.
DOCUMENT AND
INFORMATION SECURITY
this involves the protection of documents and
classified papers from loss, access by unauthorized
persons, damage, theft and compromise through
disclosure.

refers to any physical structire whether natural or
manmade capable of restricting, deterring, delaying,
or preventing illegal and unauthorized access to an
installation.

nation or any governmental activity or disadvantage
to foreign nation.
CONFIDENTIAL
Blue Color

is any information and material, the unauthorized


disclosure of it would be prejudicial to the interest
and prestige of the national or governmental activity
or would cause administrative embarrassment or
unwanted injury to and be of advantage to foreign
country.
RESTRICTED
WHITE OR NO COLOR
is any information and material which requires
special protection other than those determines
confidential, secret, and top secret.
