Fashion Show
Organized By Students of “Tilak Raj Chadha Institute of Management and Technology” Theme – Preserving Our Culture
We have chosen this theme to inculcate the feeling of
love for our culture among the youth. As our youth is more attracted to western, we want them to know that our culture is the best VENUE • We will host the show in the auditorium at our campus. • It will accommodates a larger audience around 250 people. • The neighboring classrooms will be used as backstage space and other classrooms for dressing rooms, resting area etc. • This will be the most economic choice keeping in mind our budget constraints. Funding of the Show As this is a student organized event, we aim to use a limited budget. We will raise our funds through the following: • Sale of tickets @150 each– this will contribute to about 80% of our funds, also 10% of ticket sale will be donated for cancer patients • Rs. 10,000 from Finance Department of our institute for prize distribution • Food and Beverage stalls – we will charge 800 from every individual or group willing to put up a stall How will we promote our show? • Our marketing team will design posters, tickets and flyers and distribute them throughout the campus and in other areas of the city as well. • We will also use the social media and post the information on all the platforms available. • We have a blog where student writers write about various events, we will contact them to write about the fashion show , models and sponsors etc. • We will also contact the local newspapers, magazines and television stations to post/ showcase an add in this regard. Chief Guest and Judge • Chief Guest of the event will be Rules • One entry per college. • Time limit for every individual would be 10-12 minutes. • Negative marking if participant exceeds time limit. • Green rooms will be provided for changing purposes. • Participants should carry their tracks in CD, pen drive etc. • Participants will be judged on costumes, walking stance and attitude. • Purchased, professionally made or rented costumes are permitted. • Decision of judges will be final and binding. • Vulgarity is strongly prohibited. • Use of cigarettes, alcohol and any unfair means is prohibited. • Hospitality And Accommodation :
• For the accommodation of participants we provide them individual
rooms to dress up and make over. • Classrooms should be used as makeup areas. • Proper refreshment will be provided to the participants in their rooms itself so that they can’t face any difficulty and also their time will be saved.
• Decoration:
• Theme of decoration will depict the Indian culture.
• Decoration will be wholly done be students. As we aim at reducing the cost to minimum. Timeline • There will be total of 15 participants. • In first round participants present the different Indian states by wearing their attire. • In second round only 8 participants will go based on the decision taken by judges. • Second round will be best out of waste in which participants will be judged on the basis of their skills. • In third round only 4 participants will qualify. • Third round will be of Indian ethnic wear. • Third will be the final round. • Winner will be decided on the basis of this round. • There will be a gap of 1.30 hour in each round so that participant could prepare for the next round. Prize Distribution Ceremony: • Winner will be awarded with the cash prize of Rs.5100/- along with a trophy. • First and second runner up both will get the cash prize of Rs.2100/- along with trophy. • Prize will be distributed by our honorable director Dr. Vikas Daryal. • Prize distribution will be held at the end of the event. • Pictures of winners will be printed in the local daily newspaper.
