PASTIKAN TIDAK ADA BAHAYA
The safety of both the first responder and the victim are paramount
during a resuscitation attempt.
Compressions:
1. Push hard – at least 5-6 cm deep
2. Push fast – at least 100-120 per minute
3. Allow complete chest recoil after each
compression
4. Minimise interruptions in chest compressions
5. Inflate until chest rises – only 2 ventilation
attempts allowed after every 30
compressions
6. Avoid excessive ventilation
START AND CONTINUE CPR
CPR Cycles:
30 chest compressions
(if you can) follow with 2 breaths
… otherwise just chest compressions
Compressions rules:
1. Tentukan titik tekan
2. Kunci kedua siku
3. Bahu tepat di atas titik tekan
4. Tumpuan pada kedua lutut yang dirapatkan
5. Fokus pada perintah (suara) alat AED
RESCUE BREATHS
If you can, give 2 breaths after every 30 chest compressions… otherwise just
do continuous chest compressions.
Open Airway
1. Open the airway using head tilt and chin lift.
2. Place your hand on forehead and gently tilt head back keeping your thumb
and index finger free to close the nose if rescue breathing is required.
3. With fingertips of your other hand under the point of the victim’s chin, lift
the chin to open the airway.
RESCUE BREATHS
Give 2 breaths (rescue breaths).
1. Pinch the soft part of the nose
close, using the index finger and
thumb.
2. Allow the mouth to open, but
maintain chin lift.
3. Take a normal breath & place your
lips around victim’s mouth, making
sure you have a good seal, using a
barrier-device if available.
4. Blow steadily into the mouth while
watching for the chest to rise,
taking about 1 second.
5. Maintaining head tilt and chin lift,
take your mouth away and watch
for the chest to fall as air passes
out.
6. Continue with chest compressions
and rescue breaths 30:2
WHEN TO STOP CPR
Stop to recheck the victim only if they start
breathing; otherwise continue with the 30:2
sequence.
