INTRODUCTION

 This action plan therefore seeks to address the problem of “Frequent armed robbery cases”
and also to know the causes, effects and issues associating the problem.

 It is an individual assignment that focuses on preparing annual action plan to address


identified problems in the Deduako-Kodiekrom study community.
OBJECTIVES

 The objectives of the assignment are to:

 Enable students acquire the critical assessment of problems and approaches to resolving them;

 Introduce students to rudimentary methods of project planning;

 Enable students acquire the basic knowledge of resources (human, financial and material) required
for plan implementation; and

 Assist students to plan realistically taking into consideration the socio-economic, cultural and
technological contexts.
SCOPE

 Contextual Scope
 The assignment in context is the preparation of action plans to resolve the developmental
problems identified at Deduako-kodiekrom.

 
 Geographical Scope
 The study area for this action plan is the Deduako-kodiekrom which is in the Oforikrom
Municipality in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
METHODOLOGY

 Preliminary lecture on the assignment  

 A field trip to the study area, where a survey was conducted and the various development
problems of the community is faced with and also identified. 

 A research to obtain viable information for a suitable solution to the developmental problems.

 Writing of report on the problem identified.

 Illustration in PowerPoint for presentation.


The planning process is cyclical because it is continuous process which has no end and repetitive.

PROBLEM IDENTIFACTION

 Problem is a state of difficulty that needs to be resolved.

 It gives planners the chance to study and know the problem at hand at a particular place
and time.

 One of the problems identified at Deduako-kodiekrom is Frequent Armed robbery.


EXPECTED OUTPUT

 Students are expected to provide the following outputs:

 A report, on individual basis, detailing the process used and main outputs of the plan

 A summary of the main points of the plan in PowerPoint Slides for presentation
EXPECTED SKILLS DEVELOPED

 students are expected to develop the following skills;

 Identification and analysis of development problems; and

 Project planning skills.

 Provision of employment opportunities
 Using of video cameras
 Provision Social security worker
 Ensuring public education.  
CONCLUSION
 the goal and objectives of this assignment aimed at solving the problems of armed robbery
is achieved.
 Moreover, undertaking the assignment action plan has educated me in the field of project
planning as to how to independently think and solve a problem by preparing an action plan.
