A Brief History of Facebook

 In February 2004, Mark Zuckerberg, with the help of Andrew McCollum and
Eduardo Saverin, launched a website that changed online social interaction
forever.
 Facebook started on the campus of Harvard University within 24 hours of going
live, The Facebook was a community of 1200 Harvard University students.
 Membership was initially restricted to students of Harvard College, and within
the first month, more than half the undergraduate population at Harvard were
registered on the service.
 Facebook's mission is to give people the power to share & make the world more
open & connected.
 Facebook's current headquarters in the Stanford Research Park,Palo
Alto, California.
 Facebook has over 200 million users.
 Over 70% of facebook users are outside the United States.
 The average person has 120 friends on facebook.
