HISTORY OF APPLE

1976 - Apple was founded on April Fool’s Day by Steven Jobs and Stephen Wozniak.
1984 - The original version of the Macintosh (Mac) was released.
1985 - Steven Jobs left Apple but the returned in 1997.
2001 - The first Apple retail store opened.
The iPod, a portable media player, was released.
2003 - The iTunes Store was launched.
2006 - Apple replaced PowerPC microprocessors with Intel microprocessors in all its computers.
2007 - Apple Computer, Inc. changed its name to Apple Inc.
The iPhone was released.
Apple TV, a streaming media content, was released.
2010 - The iPad, Apple’s version of a tablet computer, was released.
2011 - Apple’s financial reserves were greater than the U.S. Treasury’s operating cash balance.
2015 - The Apple Watch was released.
2018 - Became the first-ever publicly traded company to be worth $1 trillion dollars.
2019 - More than 500 retail stores worldwide.
2020 - More than 1.5 billion Apple products were actively in use around the world.
