Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury was a singer and songwriter born in Zanzibar, East Africa. He studied graphic design but pursued music, joining the band Smile and later founding Queen. Some of Queen's most famous songs include "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You," known for their complex musical structures and Freddie's powerful vocals and stage presence. He was diagnosed with AIDS in 1987 and continued performing and recording until his death in 1991, raising awareness of the disease.
