    Evolution of Retail in India:


    In the 80’s, there were Fair or Bazaar,
    In the 90’s, there were Street Markets,
    After the 90’s, there were Malls.

    So, The commercial Hub is the area of the city where commerce, Entertainment and Shopping are concentrated. This center have
    combined shopping, learning and recreational activities with entertainment to provide users an overall experience. It helps to explore the
    character of commerce and culture. I can gather all the things like Public plaza, the mall, traditional bazar, commerce and culture. Also
    the Hub can become the landmark or tourist place for the city.

    PROPOSAL INTRODUCTION

    • The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has drawn up an ambitious plan of developing a Hyderabad Habitat
    Centre at an estimated cost of Rs. 134 crore, in Khanamet.
    • It will be based on the India Habitat Centre at New Delhi, with the objective of promoting the “Heritage and Art” of Hyderabad. Also
    this allows for the great opportunity to create a Public plaza or public realm.
    • The Habitat Center should provide the finest office space along with socio cultural infrastructure like convention facilities that are
    equipped with the state of art facilities.
