    Jehad for Zero

    Thalassemia
     A non profit student based organisation .
     aims to spread awareness against thalassemia and
     blood donations to thalasseamic patients and in
    emergencies.
     Run by 7000 volunteers across the country.
     We have chapters in 120 districts in entire country .
     80 plus universities and colleges .
    Our Achievements
    • JZT holds the distinction of holding World's largest Blood donation
    camp on World Blood Donors' Day 2011 whereby 852 blood bags were
    collected for Thalassemics.
    • SECOND MARATHON was held in November 2013. As witnessed by the
    renowned media channels, this was, by now the first such race for
    Thalassemia all over the world that was attended by more than 1500
    runners.
    • Moreover, eight successful All Pakistan Volunteer Conventions (VOLCON) are
    held under the umbrella of JZT. These All Pakistan Volunteer Conventions are
    followed by conventions on provincial level organized in each of the provincial
    headquarters. ISLAMIA COLLEGE UNIVERSITY, PESHAWAR being considered as
    mother of all educational institutes proved its mettle by being declared as the
    Provincial Headquarters due to the selfless devotion of JZT ICUP Society for
    the cause.
    VOLCON and Its Objectives.
     Events like this are termed as VOLCON [Volunteers’ Convention] and have become a
    brand name for JZT’s get-togethers of this type.
     Volunteers about 600 from cross the country,lahore ,islamabad and other parts of
    country participate.
     Apart from JZTeers, we are inviting and as a matter of fact have invited, a number of
    Government officials, celebrities(cricketers/singers), renowned businessmen,
    journalists, anchors. Moreover, our event will be covered by all news channels,
    newspapers, social media bloggers and vloggers .
     Tentative date: 4th april.
     Venue: Agricultural university auditorium.
     OBJECTIVES:
     • To let the cause catch the eye of the government.
     • To promote awareness among general public about the lethal disease.
     • To appreciate our selfless volunteers.
     • To plan our future activities(thalassemia free pak 2021 mission through scan)
