NELSON ROLIHLAHLA MANDELA

Nelson Mandela was born


on (18/7/1918) . He died
at the age of 95 on
(5/12/2013) at Houghton,
Johannesburg.
Nelson Mandela , an anti-
apartheid politician and
revolutionary who held the office
and former President of SOUTH
AFRICA 1994-1999. He was the
first black South Africa
President, elected in the first
multi-race, all-ethnic elections.
Mandela spent 27 years in jail for his attempts to
overthrow the country’s white-minority government
before being freed in 1990. He led the African
National Congress (ANC) liberation organization in
negotiations with the National Party to secure South
Africa’s first inclusive election in 1994.
Born into the royal Tembu family in July 1918 in the
village of Qunu, in Umtata in the south eastern
Transkei, Mandela rose from relative rural obscurity to
challenge the apartheid government.
He became commander-in-chief of the ANC’s armed
wing, Umkhonto we Sizwe (Spear of the Nation), in
1961 and underwent military training in Algeria and
Ethiopia the following year.

Mandela defended many human
rights, most notably the rights of
black people, and also against the
idea of racism and bullying of
humans. And he did a lot of
charitable work and helped many
needy and poor people. And the
world testifies to the greatness of
Mandela's actions and the standing
and appreciation of this man in
society.
Nelson Mandela wrote many books and wrote
many films, such as the road to freedom and
success before his death, and also after his death
there are many authors who wrote books for him
and also writers who produced films about his
career and his success as a timeless memory for
him in society.
