LITERARY DEVICES
DEFINITION
Literary Devices are common
structures used in writing. These devices can
be either
literary elements or literary techniques.

It provides a broad structure under which all


the types of literature are classified, studied
and understood that makes the text so rich
and expressive.
Here are some literary devices from the story
“Romeo and Juliet”.

Similes are one of the most commonly used


literary devices; referring to the practice of drawing
parallels or comparisons between two unrelated and
dissimilar things, people, beings, places, and
concepts.
