    In the previous classes you have already
    learnt how to make simple drawings. Now
    you will learn some advanced features of
    paint Window.

    Let us first revise a few things.


    Opening MS PAINT

    The steps to open Paint window are :


    1.Click on Start button

    2. Click on Windows
    Accessories

    3.Click on Paint
    or

    Type Paint in search bar next to


    Start Button.
    Parts of the Paint Window

    File Menu Quick Access


    (Open,save,Saveas, Toolbar(Common
    New) commands like save,
    print ,undo ,redo)
    Tabs

    Ribbon
    Drawing Area
    Tool Selection
    Color Scheme
    Shapes
    Save your drawing

    1.Click on File Button

    2.Select Save Option


    3.In the Save As dialogue Box ,Select the location to
    Save the File.
    4.Type the name of the file in File name field. Click
    on Save Button .
    Opening a Saved Drawing
    1.Click on File button

    2. Select Open Option


    3.In the Open Dialogue Box , Select the location
    where the file is saved.
    4. Select the Desired file. Click on Open Button.
    Closing Paint
    When you have completed the work, close
    the paint program.
    To Close paint program, Follow the given
    steps.
    Step 1 : Click the File menu
    Step 2 : Click the Exit option
    Or
    You can also close the Paint program by
    clicking on the Close button at the top right
    corner of the Paint window.
