Other sites are the Izmir Ethnography Museum housed in a late 19th century neoclassical building, the vibrant Kemeralti Bazaar dating back centuries, and several historic mosques. Izmir also has archaeological sites like the Agora from the Roman period and the ancient city of Bergama to the north, which has hosted many civilizations.

    before Christ with the instructions of the generals of
    Alexander the Great was built by the Lysimachos.
