    What is the CAUSE?
    Cause is the motive, drive, or
    action that produces a reaction.
    Simply put, cause is a cause
    that will cause an effect

    Characteristic of Cause :
    1. Answering the question, "Why did this
    happen?"
    2. Contains signal words/linking words/causal
    linking
    3. Can be saved at the beginning or at the end
    What is the Effect ?
    Effect is the condition, event, or
    result of one/several causes.

    Characteristic of Effect :
    1. The answer to the question, "What
    happened?“.
    2. Usually begins with signal words/linking
    words/causal linking.
    3. Can be replaced with other nouns.
    1. As a result of COVID, many companies are
    implementing work from where for their
    employees.
    2. There was a graduation ceremony on the city
    square, so traffic was at a standstill.
    Example of Cause 3. I’ve started eating a much healthier diet.
    and Effect :
    Consequently, I’ve lost weight and have more
    energy.
    4. Thanks to my beloved boyfriend, I recovered
    from a difficult situation.
    5. He worked hard on his thesis, therefore he

    • KALIMAT (SUBJECT PREDICATE)
    • NOUN/NOUN PHRASE
    Example :
    1. Because it rains hard all day, I must stay at home.
    2. Since Bella was nervous, she did not pass the driving test.
    3. As she had not paid the rent, she was told to vacate the flat
    4. Doni could not sing for his throat is core
    5. It was raining hard, so I must stay at home
    6. Bella was nervous during the driving test, therefore, she did not
    pass.
