What is digital arts?
Digital art, once called computer art or
new media art, refers to art made using
software, computers, or other electronic
devices. Anything produced or made on
digital media, such as animations,
photographs, illustrations, videos, digital
paintings, and such can be classified as
digital art.
Examples:
Photo Manipulation 3D Sculpting
Film Making Pixel Art
2D and 3D
Animation Photo Restoration
Photography Photo Painting
3D Modelling Digital Collage
Vector Drawing
Photography
Photography is the art of creating
 images by recording light, either
electronically by means of an image
sensor, or chemically by means of a light-
sensitive material such as photographic
film.
It is use for art, film and video production,
recreational purposes, hobby, and mass
communication
Photomanipulation
Photograph manipulation involves the
transformation or alteration of a
photograph using various methods and
techniques to achieve desired results.
Some photograph manipulations are
considered to be skillful artwork, while
others are considered to be unethical
practices, especially when used to deceive
the public.
Example of Software: Adobe Photoshop
Film Making
Filmmaking (film production) is the process by
which a motion picture is produced.
Filmmaking involves a number of complex and
discrete stages, starting with an initial story,
idea, or commission. It then continues
through screenwriting, casting, pre-production,
shooting, sound recording, post-production,
and screening the finished product before an
audience that may result in a film release and
an exhibition.
Animation
Animation is a method in
which figures are manipulated to
appear as moving images.
In traditional animation, images are
drawn or painted by hand on
transparent celluloid sheets to be
photographed and exhibited on film.
3D Modelling
3D modelling is the process of
creating three-dimensional
representations of an object or a
surface. 3D models are made within
computer-based 3D modelling
software.
Vector Graphics
Vector graphics is the set of
mechanisms for creating visual
images directly from geometric
shapes defined on a Cartesian
plane, such as points, lines, curves,
and polygons.
Example of software: Adobe
Illustrator (AI)
Digital Painting
Digital painting is an emerging art
form in which traditional painting
techniques such as watercolor, oils,
impasto, etc. are applied using
digital tools by means of a
computer, a graphics tablet and
stylus, and software
