and officials, and vary among different sports and age

What is the meaning of sports officiating?

Sports officiating is a system of managing a sports, specifically on


implementing the game rules and keeping order in the duration of the game.
What are sport officials and why are they so important?
Umpires, referees, and other sports officials preside over competitive athletic
or sporting events to help maintain standards of play. They detect infractions
and decide penalties according to the rules of the game.
